Training Programs

VistaLab Technologies offers a new training program to increase awareness of ergonomic issues in the laboratory. Developed and presented by a Certified Professional Ergonomist, the session is uniquely focused on best practices in workplace ergonomics for the laboratory environment. Attendees will become familiar with ergonomic practices and associated disciplines, and be introduced to the form and function of the human body as it relates to the work related tasks.

The program provides a valuable method for evaluating and quantifying ergonomic risks that occur in the laboratory environment. Many laboratory professionals have not received the training or tools needed to recognize potential ergonomic issues within their work area, or guidance on corrective actions that can prevent commonly occurring occupational cumulative trauma disorders. The curriculum in this program addresses this need so attendees can then develop an effective ergonomics program within their organization.
